Neutered or spayed, six month or older on or before April 1st - $11.00
Unneutered or unspayed, six months or older on or before April 1st - $15.00
Late Fee: $2.00 if Neutered or Spayed
$4.00 if Unneutered or unspayed
Must have and submit a valid rabies certificate.

Attention Canaan and Beecher Falls Residents:
If you haven't already registered your dog, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, is the last day to do so before the April 1st deadline. The cost to register a dog in Canaan is $11.00 and $15.00 for altered and unaltered dogs, respectively. If you do not register your dog by tomorrow, you will incur a $2.00 or $4.00 late fee.
I will be in the office on Saturday, March 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help residents who aren't available during regular office hours. I look forward to seeing you all within the next few days.
