Contact the Transfer Station Attendant(s) if you have any questions about what goes in what container or what can be recycled. The metal, construction debris, tire, and electronic containers can not to be used until you see the site operator. This is to make sure the proper containers are used, and the appropriate fees have been paid. We could incur extra charges at the landfills if we do not comply with their requirements.

*This list is not exhaustive if you do not know where to dispose of an item, ask the Transfer Station attendant(s) for guidance.

*The above costs can be reduced if you remove all metals and covering materials. The clean wood can go to the stump dump and the metal can go into the metal container and there would be no charge to dispose of these two waste materials. The cloth and filler material can go in the regular trash using a Town bag. The above fee charges are to cover the cost if the operator must strip the items of clean wood and metal. These materials are not allowed in the construction debris container.
